This is a great helicopter for anyone to use indoors, it is small but there are some big advantages to that. It is simple to fly and is so light it does not damage to itself or furniture. More than other helicopters I have had it seems to move away from obstacles, the prop wash is enough to push it away from the item. I have hit less items (my wife is very happy), and the helicopter still looks new after many hours of flying.
I have had no problem with lights interfering with the IR controls and the proportional input works better than most RC controls – a big reason it is so easy to fly. The only drawback I have found to this model is that it is difficult to trim the helicopter to keep it from spinning. You need to keep a close watch on the rotation even after you have trimmed it out. I just use the main rotation control, and try to minimize the trim adjustment since it does not seem to last long enough to justify the time it takes to trim.
Great model for the beginner or a younger child – you will be happy with this one!
